About EDPMA
Formed in 1997, EDPMA members include small emergency physician groups that work with one or two local hospitals, medium sized emergency physician groups that are focused in a region, and national emergency physician groups working with hospitals across many states. Additionally, EDPMA members include the business partners to these emergency physician groups that provide technical and professional support services such as billing and coding services, documentation tools, EHR/EMR services, and consultants. Our Mission is to advocate for Emergency Department physician groups and their partners to enhance quality patient care through operational excellence and financial stability.

ADVOCACY: Watching and acting on what matters most to our members.
EDPMA represents and promotes the interests of emergency
medicine physician groups and their practice partners with members of Congress and
the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). We provide comment on federal and state
legislation and regulatory rules, while providing EDPMA members with vital
information on legislative and regulatory issues facing the industry.
ANNUAL FORUM: Presenting innovative and practical solutions to industry problems.
Solutions Summit
is EDPMA’s signature event, attracting hundreds of healthcare professionals
from across the country. This annual event offers a wide range of workshops,
general sessions, briefings and policy discussions. Led by leaders in the
field, Solutions Summit presents
practical solutions- ones that attendees can take home and use right away- to
the problems facing physicians groups and their practice partners.
INFORMATION PUBLICATIONS: Keeping our members informed.
EDPMA has a communications system that keeps our members up
to date on developments in emergency medicine.
Regularly published newsletters combined with frequent dissemination of
up-to-date information and news keep EDPMA members informed on the issues most
important to them.

Hosted by industry experts, EDPMA offers interactive webinars
covering industry hot topics, best practices, and specials interests. These
