Formed in 1997, EDPMA members include small emergency physician groups that work with one or two local hospitals, medium sized emergency physician groups that are focused in a region, and national emergency physician groups working with hospitals across many states. Additionally, EDPMA members include the business partners to these emergency physician groups that provide technical and professional support services such as billing and coding services, documentation tools, EHR/EMR services, and consultants.
